I’m Travis Jordan, the proud owner of AV Connect. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

Ever since I was young, technology has always been a major fascination and guiding factor in my life. So, it was a natural choice for me to go into smart home automation, establishing AV Connect in 2008.

In the fifteen years since I got into the industry, we have grown from a one-person operation to a team of eleven professionals with the goal of accommodating the rising demand and ever-changing tech landscape. 

The part of my work life that I most enjoy is dealing with people. I also enjoy installing what some people may consider minor improvements like remotes, TVs, WiFi, music streaming, etc., as I enjoy making people’s lives better and easier. My business philosophy is “treat people right.” Everything else will fall in line.

As an individual, what sets me apart from others is my commitment to keeping what we do both ethical and honest. 

I attribute my success to the fact we are a marathon, not a sprint. We are persistent, passionate, and have a great attitude. Also, we are disciplined enough not to grow too fast, so we can withstand a lousy season once in a while.

Becoming good friends with the people I work with and gaining many loyal clients has given me immense satisfaction over the years.

I have a few different hobbies and interests when I am not at work. However, I most enjoy time with family, playing the guitar, and staying fit with soccer and time at the gym.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
