AV Connect did an unbelievable job. He figured out all my problems, got me the setup I wanted: and he suggested ways to SAVE money. No up-selling or pushing needless expensive components. This is significant as my system is 2 X 46″ flat screens mounted one over the other. All my components are in a closet, I have different cable boxes on each TV (no pip on att). A PS3, a Wii and ipod hookup that works on both flat screens. The speakers are Polk Audio and it is 7.1. It crushes, everyone that has heard the system says it blows away the movie theatre. Travis also has done follow up and stayed til I was not just satisfied but really happy. Nothing like bluray with the ground and furniture shaking in 7.1 surround! Whether it is a simple wall mount or a crazy custom system Travis was professional prompt and thorough. oh yeah and now I have 1 remote that controls the WHOLE set-up.‎

We had issues with lines in our tv.  Two notable companies came out and told us they would have to rewire the system at a cost of $7000. AV Connect came and assessed the problem and fixed it for a few hundred dollars without rewiring!!!
He does awesome work for a reasonable price!

Travis is one of the technical geeks I have met so far from Media room installers. He is excellent in designing the system and coming up with ideas. I have talked to 4 different installers and everybody went into attic and told me that I have to go for wireless speakers (which will cost huge amount money and with less quality). But, Travis did extraordinary job by figuring out the way to pull the cables through attic by going extra mile. Now my Media room is clean and well designed. I am really happy. I have used Travis several times over the past year for various custom audio and video setup and installation. I am very tech savvy and upto speed on technology and do some of this myself, but I could not have had this setup and working the way it is without his expertise. I have old equipment that I wanted to re-use and several newer pieces of equipment that I added. I had done extensive research – Travis gave feedback and offered other options (he researched things for me). I did go with his recommendation and I am very happy with his feedback. He ordered custom equipment not available in retail stores. I have several unique requirements for home theater, in-home music and entertainment, equipment hidden in closets, etc. My equipment is a mix of Sony, bose, Martin Logan, Denon, HK, Samsung, etc. Travis fixed some incorrect installation (found that there was an issue, which I did not suspect) and provided a solution for custom install. I have a few more upgrades planned for which I will defenitely call Travis for ideas, suggestions, recommendation and, of course setup and installation. I highly recommend Travis for standard home theater or custom audio and video solutions.

Travis did an awesome job with my difficult install. The wall we wanted the TV and stereo equipment on did not have easy access from the attic or any existing wiring installed. I attempted to DIY before I called Travis so I had all the supplies. In less than 3 hours he had it all done exactly like I wanted.

When I first called AV Connect to find out about the installation of my TV, Travis came to my home within an hour and provided all the information I needed. I had not even purchased the TV at that time. Afterwards, he came by on Saturday, which was more convenient for me, but the supplier failed to send the correct size bracket. Two days later he returned with the right bracket for my 65″ TV. I’m sure it was more costly than he had estimated, yet there was no addition cost. He figured out the best way to hide the wires by having to run a 25′ HDMI cable. Then he set up the cable remote to operate both the TV and my VCR. He even rehung my painting above the TV so it would be centered. Two weeks later he stopped by to explain some issues I was still having. Seldom have I lucked out and selected the best company to go with. I sure did with Travis, he is great!‎

Travis was awesome. I am very particular and bought seven flat screens, dvd player, the wii and a stereo system for my new home. Travis installed all my flat screens and 16 speakers throughout the house. Along with the tv’s were cable boxes and I did not want to see any wires or cables. Not only did Travis work his magic by putting all the devices in a closet nice and neat, he programmed the advanced all in one remote controls for me to my preferences and wired my house for music in every room.
